Kudat Discovery Trip

30-05-2010 Sandakan ~ Kudat

7:45 am ~ Worship time at BCCM Sandakan Church

10:15am~ Assemble at Kedai Kopi ‘Thiam Kee’ mile 9 before proceeding to Kudat. (prepare own lunch)

1:00pm. ~ Rest Stop 1, Pamol Junction.

4:00pm. ~ Rest Stop 2, BCCM Kota Marudu.

6:00pm. ~ Arrive at Kudat, check –in to Kudat Golf & Marina Resort.

7:30pm. ~ Dinner .

9:00pm. ~ Walking along the Sidek Esplanade (Kudat’s sea front), as Kudat is naturally graced with beautiful ocean scapes all around.

31-05-2010 Kudat Town

8:00am. ~ BCCM Kudat, Breakfast, devotion time and fellowship.

10:00am ~ Bak-Bak Beach, people live here in an old, traditional and quiet life.

~ BCCM Lau San, the 1st BCCM Church established 128 years ago.

~Gombizau Honey Bee Farm, you will be able to observe how a bee farm is managed and get a taste of raw honey straight from the honeycomb..

1:00pm. ~ Lunch at the Lo’s Residence to taste some of the local delicacies.

2:00pm. ~ Rice Mill.

~ Cattle Farm.

~ Kelambu Beach. One of the best beaches in Sabah for beach lovers who opt for a more reclusive and less mainstream beach vacation.

4:30pm. ~ The Tip of Borneo - Tanjung Simpang Mengayau, the third largest island in the world. Simpang Mengayau means “lingering junction” as it is here that the South China Sea lingers and meets the Sulu Seas flowing from the east...Enjoy the stunning view.

7:30pm. ~ Dinner.

01-06-2010 Kudat ~ Sandakan

8:00am. ~ Breakfast (at own expense) & visit Kudat Market where it is a great opportunity to discover local products.

10:00am. ~ Depart from hotel.

10:30am. ~ BCCM Tamalang, Devotion & tea break. Sharing by Rev. Liau

11:00am. ~ Visit Rungus Longhouse. The Rungus Longhouse is wholly made out of traditional materials such as split bamboos for walls and nipah palm leaves for roofing. Here, visitors too will be able to take a close look at how beaded accessories are made and how intricate Rungus tapestries are woven

1:00pm. ~ Break at Kota Marudu.

7:00pm. ~ Arrive Sandakan with happy memories!
